Link building adalah satu hal yang harus dilakukan oleh para webmaster untuk meningkatkan link popularity dari website yang dikelolanya. Dan banyak hal yang bisa dilakukan untuk link building ini. Ada yang berbayar alias membeli link ada juga yang gratis.

Cara pertama adalah cara ribet alias hardway, bila anda menggunakan browser Firefox, klik tab View kemudian pilih Page Source dan kemudian akan muncul html code dari blog tersebut. Tekan Ctrl+F, dan akan muncul box isian, isikan kata nofollow, kemudian tekan ENTER. Bila tidak ada kata NoFollow, berarti blog tersebut adalah DoFollow.
Tapi bila terlalu malas untuk melakukan cara yang pertama (saya juga malas kalo musti ngecek satu satu mah :D ), sudah tersedia tools yang memudahkan kita untuk mengecek apakah suatu blog disetting NoFollow atau DoFollow. Tools ini adalah pluginnya Firefox dan tentunya anda harus menggunakan browser Firefox.
Berikut ini step stepnya :
1. Download plugin Firefox berikut : NoDoFollow
2. Intall dan restart Firefox
3. Sekarang bila anda ingin tahu, suatu blog disetting NoFollow atau DoFollow tinggal klik kanan dan pilih NoDoFollow, maka nanti link yang disetting DoFollow akan berwarna biru sedangkan yang NoFollow akan berwarna Merah.
