You have probably read about how people are able to gain access to an individual's computer and essentially steal all their personal data. If you are not sure which one has been supplied by your service provider, have a look at the original documentation or phone your service provider and ask them.

Most routers provided by internet service providers are wireless. This means that if you have a laptop, you can connect to the internet using a wireless network card from your laptop to the router, and finally out onto the internet. Even if you don't have a laptop and use a desktop computer, the router from your service provider will still have the wireless functionality enabled. This wireless connection broadcasts a name called an SSID. This can be picked up by any wireless device normally within a 50m radius of your home. You need to make sure that the wireless broadcast is switched off if you do not use it. If you have a laptop and use it to connect to the internet wirelessly, make sure that it uses an encryption key to secure all communications. The older type of encryption is WEP and is now less secure; you should be using WPA which is more secure. Read the documentation that came with the router on how to configure encryption on your router.

This slows your PC down drastically, and the worst part is that because the registry cannot be fixed by Windows, it's constantly getting more and more corrupt files inside. Eventually, most computers end up running at a snail's pace, because they have 1,000's of corrupt registry files.

Luckily, there is a trick to stop this problem and speed up your computer instantly. You just need to be able to use a piece of software called a "registry cleaner". Registry cleaners are tools which scan through the entire registry and fix any of the problematic files that are in there. To use them to speed up your PC, you just need to download a good cleaner, open it up and then let it scan your system.

Fenomena Terorisme dan Miyabi

Dalam waktu yang hampir bersamaan kedua peristiwa ini menghiasi pemberitaan media di negeri kita. Adakah persamaan diantara keduanya ? Yang jelas, fenomena terorisme menulis banyaknya korban jiwa yang tidak bisa diselamatkan. Sedangkan fenomena Miyabi mencatat kerusakan moral bangsa, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung.

Terorisme
Teroris yang tercatat sebagai seorang muslim, tidak membawa suara hati muslim secara keseluruhan. Kegiatan mereka membingungkan terutama bagi muslim di Indonesia yang masih kerepotan memikirkan isi perut. Pesan yang mereka maksudkan entah pada siapa, sampai ke muslim Indonesia adalah kesulitan hidup yang semakin menghimpit. Adakah muslim di Indonesia sempit hati dan kurang wawasan sehingga tidak mengerti pesan mereka ? ataukah para teroris inilah yang tidak bisa mengerti kesulitan saudaranya sendiri ?

Gadis cantik ini lahir dari keluarga berada, sehingga menggugurkan semua kemungkinan bahwa profesi yang dia lakukan saat ini dengan alasan ekonomi. Cantik, masih muda dan punya masa depan yang panjang. Tapi kenapa memilih menjadi sarana pengumbar nafsu? Kita tidak tahu. Miyabi pun tidak akan mau disejajarkan dengan teroris yang sering membunuh orang yang tidak bersalah. Jadi dimana letak persamaannya ? Minimal persamaannya adalah keduanya meresahkan masyarakat. Keduanya berusaha menghancurkan sendi-sendi peradaban bangsa, yang satu secara fisik, yang satunya lagi secara moral. Jadi, lebih baik kita tidak berfikir untuk mengikuti jejak keduanya, bukan ?

Lawan Gizi Buruk dengan Kelinci

Masalah gizi buruk terus menjadi masalah gawat di negeri ini. Hampir setiap bulan selalu saja ada media mengangkat ke permukaan. Menurut data badan PBB untuk urusan pangan atau United Nation World FoodProgramme (WFP) gizi buruk dan kelaparan masih menghantui sedikitnya 13 juta anak Indonesia. (Republika Newsroom 06/02/09). Dari sisi kajian dasar tentang gizi, kebutuhan minimum manusia akan protein hewani adalah: 8;1 Kg daging untuk setiap orang dalam satu tahun. Atau pada setiap bulan per orang membutuhkan 675 gram. Bisa dikonkretkan lagi, setiap minggu orang butuh rata-rata 169 gram gizi dari daging.

Persoalan gizi sebenarnya bukan urusan yang rumit. Masyarakat bawah pun sadar makanan bergizi sebagai kebutuhan. Dengan gizi yang baik kecerdasan dan kesehatan serta ketahanan tubuh akan mendorong prestasi pendidikan dan pekerjaan.

Gizi kelinci
Buruknya gizi rakyat, selain disebabkan oleh kebodohan pemerintah dalam mengelola sumber daya alam juga karena ketidakmampuan pemerintah dalam memaksimalkan sejumlah potensi sumberdaya manusia. Seandainya pemerintah selalu mengeluhkan dana sampai-sampai banyak organisasi sosial yang mengambil alih tanggungjawab pemerintah untuk urusan ini, sebenarnya dengan modal cukup murah perbaikan gizi itu bisa dilakukan, terutama untuk mayoritas rakyat (petani) desa. Di era 1980an, pernah ada satu program pemasok gizi untuk rakyat miskin, terutama di pedesaan. Program itu dicetuskan oleh satu kelompok ternak kelinci di Bandung. Sejumlah peternak yang bernaung di bawah bendera “Romayo” di kawasan Setiabudhi Bandung itu memiliki gagasan “Pabrik Daging Mini di Pekarangan.” Dengan cukup memelihara 2-4 ekor kelinci, kaum tani miskin pun bisa mendapatkan kecukupan gizi cukup dalam setahun, bahkan mendapatkan penghasilan tambahan berupa uang dari hasil penjualan.

Menurut Ensminger (1990), daging kelinci memiliki kandungan proteinnya tinggi (25 %), rendah lemak (4%), dan kadar kolesterol daging juga rendah yaitu 1,39 g/kg (Rao et al. dalam Sartika , 1995). Sementara menurut sumber Tabloid Agrina (08/12/2006) menuliskan, kandungan lemak kelinci hanya 8%, sedangkan daging ayam, sapi, domba, dan babi masing-masing 12%, 24%, 14%, dan 21%. Kadar kolesterolnya sekitar 164 mg/100 gram daging, sedangkan ayam, sapi, domba, dan babi berkisar 220—250 mg/100 gram daging. Kandungan proteinnya mencapai 21%, sementara ternak lain hanya 17—20%.

Kalau urusannya pasokan gizi, bukankah ternak daging hewan apapun bisa dimanfaatkan? Kenapa kelinci? Makmur Suriaatmadja, aktivis pendorong “Romayo”, mantan Ketua Koperasi Institut Teknologi Bandung dan Mantan Ketua Yayasan Perbaikan Gizi (YAPIKA) kala itu sangat berperan dalam mendorong para petani menjawab pertanyaan penulis; “tak mungkin petani menyembelih domba, kambing atau sapinya hanya untuk pemasok gizi. Sedangkan itik atau ayam lebih praktis menjadi tabungan. Manakala butuh uang mendadak bisa menjual lebih praktis ke pasar. “

Konsep ternak kelinci skala kecil yang diusung Romayo secara singkat bisa diketahui sebagai berikut:

Populasi kelinci dalam setiap dua bulan sekali kelahiran mampu menghasilkan 4-8 ekor. Kelinci umur tiga bulan menghasilkan satu kg daging murni. Untuk memenuhi persyaratan gizi perlu dipotong lebih dari satu ekor perminggu atau lebih dari empat ekor per bulan.

Makanan yang diperlukan sekitar 1 ½ -2 bakul perhari untuk tiga ekor bibit dengan (3 X 6=18 ekor) anak-anaknya. Merawatnya tidak sulit tapi perlu rajin dan teliti. Kandang setiap hari harus bersih dan diperhatikan kesehatannya. Biaya yang diperlukan rendah. Kandang yang diperlukan untuk tiga bibit kelinci adalah tiga buah.

Disamping itu tiga buah lagi untuk menyimpan anak kelinci dari A, B dan C bila sudah waktunya disapih (setelah 50 hari) sampai siap untuk dipotong. Kandangnya dibuat beberapa minggu sebelum saat diperlukan menurut kebutuhan. Dapat dibuat sendiri dari bahan setempat atau barang-barang sisa.

Ukuran kandang untuk masing-masing bibit kelinci cukup 70 X 100 cm. Untuk tiap kelompok anak kelinci dari induk cukup 70 X 70 cm. Pekarangan yang diperlukan bagi “Pabrik Daging Mini” tidaklah besar, hanya butuh sekitar 3 kali luas kandang yang diperlukan tersebut.

Di Era 1980an beberapa desa di kawasan Jawa Barat, Jawa Tengah dan Jawa Timur yang menerapkan ini terbukti efektif. Hasil pergulatan Mamur Suriaatmadja bersama teman-temannya di Romayo dalam memberdayakan gizi mendapat perhatian dari Gubernur Solichin GP dan Presiden Soeharto. Bahkan beberapa tahun kemudian konsep “Pabrik Daging Mini di Pekarangan” itu diterapkan di berbagai negara seperti Amerika Serikat, Belanda, Cina dan lain sebagainya. Organisasi Pangan Dunia, FAO sendiri banyak berhutang budi kepada rumusan Mamur Suriaatmadja dan kawan-kawan dalam hal pemberdayaan gizi keluarga di kalangan penduduk miskin pedesaan. Dengan kata lain, kelinci memang efektif dalam melawan gizi buruk di kalangan rakyat miskin, juga bisa menjadi solusi kelompok masyarakat elit yang gemar daging tapi takut resiko obesitas.

Bibit unggul dan pemberdayaan
Kalau bibit daging maupun bibit ternak besar (sapi, kambing dan domba) selama ini terus diimpor, kenapa bibit kelinci tidak? Indonesia hanya pernah mengimpor satu kali di masa orde baru, itupun setelah didorong oleh aktivis Romayo dan sebagian dibantu oleh kedutaan besar Belanda. Setelah itu bibit kelinci unggul semakin pudar dan susut. Peremajaan tidak pernah dilakukan. Bandingkan dengan Cina yang mengimpor bibit unggul kelinci setiap satu tahun sekali misalnya. Atau dengan negara-negara lain seperti Tailand, Vietnam. Pemerintah Indonesia kalah jauh dalam hal ini. Akibat tidak adanya bibit unggul baru serta tidak maksimalnya pemberdayaan, ternak kelinci di Indonesia terbengkelai, bahkan kemudian malah beralih menjadi kelinci hias yang hanya mengasilkan kesenangan kaum borjuasi semata. Potensi ilmu pengetahuan “pabrik daging di pekarangan” yang handal seperti itu justru banyak dimanfaatkan negara lain, sementara para pejabat di Indonesia hanya dibuat melongo manakala melihat kenyataan buruknya gizi rakyat. Lupa, tak tahu, atau memang tidak mau tahu? Saya tak tahu.

There is a fast growing trend for people to set up a blog and feel totally rejected within a very small period of time because they are not getting hoards of people flocking to their site to read their posts. The secret is to not get to disheartened, but to follow a few basic steps about blog marketing, and then I would think that they would be totally surprised at how fast their audience would grow, and how willing people would be to read their latest posts. So the next question is how can you brand yourself to get your blog noticed and standing out above the norm, so you are getting loads of traffic and lots of views.

If you are not going to pick a good topical niche to write about, then do as I will do and that is to write about my journey from zero to hero in the world of internet marketing. I do realise that people who just talk about themselves 24/7 will eventually bore their audience to the point of leaving, but the person who writes about his or hers journey, from beginning to end makes very interesting reading, especially for someone who is thinking of embarking on the same or similar journey. If you are not thinking of doing the same sort of thing, then do as I said in the beginning and pick a good niche that you know something about. The ideal situation is to write about a hobby that you are interested in, and that is also very popular with millions of people. Example [Fishing].

Now you can start posting on forums, but make sure you put your url from your blog in in your forum signature, or it can be classed as spam and that is the last thing you need when you are just starting out. Do not just blast your way into the forum, pimping your crap, as my mentor would say. This way you will get a lot of return readers to your blog. Try to find the most current forums in the niche you are writing about.

You should then find that you have a big enough list to pick a good size forum with at least a couple of thousand members in. Try to visit and comment on blogs that are writing about the same sort of niche that you are writing about, and then you are more liable to find that when they visit your blog that they will stay a lot longer. You should always keep your blog up to date when you first start writing because your readers will always look forward to returning and reading your latest post when you have got their attention. If you just stick to the basic steps that I have just mentioned you will find that you will get a natural organic growth of traffic and find more and more readers and comments coming to your blog every day. Don't forget to never use spam on your fellow writers blogs, as Google do not take very kindly to this and one way or another you will be penalized, which in turn will brake the chain of organic growth of your blog.

Ketika Gempa, Jangan Turun Lewat Tangga Darurat

Hanya mau share tentang gempa nih, kebetulan kemarin ikut ngerasain gempa, postingan ini ditujukan bagi anda yang bekerja di Gedung2 Tinggi, terutama yang bekerja di lantai 5 keatas.

Saat terjadi gempa, biasanya warga Jakarta yang berada di gedung-gedung pencakar langit langsung berhamburan menuju tangga darurat untuk turun ke halaman. Kebiasaan ini ternyata tidak benar. Sebab, tangga adalah bagian dari gedung yang paling tidak tahan gempa alias paling mudah runtuh.

"Ini adalah salah kaprah. Orang kalau ada gempa langsung turun pakai tangga darurat. Berdasarkan strukturnya, tangga darurat bukan didesain untuk antisipasi gempa, tapi untuk kebakaran," kata praktisi konstruksi Endy Budyanto dalam perbincangan dengan detikcom, Kamis (3/8/2009).

Sebenarnya yang harus dilakukan saat terjadi gempa, para penghuni gedung bertingkat lebih baik diam dulu di dalam gedung sampai gempa selesai bergoyang. Setelah gempa berhenti, baru kemudian mereka turun menuruni tangga darurat.

Dia menjelaskan, bagian-bagian bangunan yang paling rawan runtuh akibat gempa secara berurutan yakni tangga, balok, plat atau lantai, dan yang terakhir adalah tiang. Sehingga kalau saat terjadi gempa orang justru berebut turun lewat tangga, dikhawatirkan malah akan membuat tangga tersebut runtuh karena tidak kuat menahan beban.

"Harusnya kita tetap di tempat sampai gempa itu berhenti, baru setelah itu mereka keluar," saran Endy.

So, jangan panik ya...

Tips Mengobati Sakit Tenggorokan

Bagi Anda yang saat ini sedang mengalami sakit tenggorokan, berikut ini ada beberapa tips untuk mengobati sakit tenggorokan secara alami :

Berkumur dengan jus lidah buaya dua kali sehari.

Berkumur dengan campuran setengah sendok teh klorofil yang dicampur dengan setengah cangkir air, berkumur sebanyak 3 kali sehari.

Campurkan satu sendok teh sari cuka apel, satu sendok teh lada cayenne dan 3 sendok makan madu yang dicampurkan dalam segelas air hangat, berkumurlah sesuai dengan kebutuhan.

Buat teh chamomile yang ditambahkan dengan 1 sampai 2 sendok teh bubuk chamomile yang dikeringkan dalam air panas, minum setiap beberapa jam sekali.

Iris jahe seperti koin dan letakkan dalam teko kecil, lalu seduh dengan air panas seperti membuat teh hingga warnanya coklat kekuning-kuningan. Tambahkan 3 sendok makan madu untuk membuat rasa menjadi manis, lalu minum secara perlahan-lahan.
Teteskan 5 tetes ekstrak biji buah anggur yang dicampurkan dengan air lalu kumur secara perlahan-lahan. Ekstrak ini berguna sebagai antimikroba dan membunuh bakteri.

Campurkan seperempat sari cuka apel ditambahkan seperempat madu, lalu minum setiap 4 jam sekali untuk mengurangi rasa sakit.

Campurkan madu dengan jus lemon dalam satu sendok makan, lalu berkumur dan biarkan berada di tenggorokan beberapa saat. Ini berguna untuk membantu mengurangi iritasi, lakukan beberapa kali dalam sehari.

Buat campuran jus lemon dengan satu sendok teh garam dalam secangkir air hangat, berkumurlah 3 kali sehari selama 1 menit.

Campurkan segelas air hangat dengan satu sendok teh garam, lalu berkumurlah beberapa kali dalam sehari.

Optimasi pun Di Mulai

Mumpung masih pagi dan badan masih segar, barusan ngecheck single site yang baru dibikin. Dan Alhamdulillah sudah keindex. Walaupun saya check menggunakan tools Google SERP Checker, posisinya masih belum masuk 1000 besar (Ya iyalah, baru juga keindex, backlink aja masih 0). Tapi dititik inilah kita mulai bekerja lebih keras, kita lihat berapa lama single site ini, bisa merangsek ke halaman depan SERP Google.

Target saya pada single site ini adalah masuk ke page pertama SERP Google dot Com (karena target visitor adalah US) dengan keyword Low Cholesterol Foods. Berat tentunya, karena saya menggunakan domain baru, yang tentunya masih ada satu tantangan lagi setelah bisa terindex, yaitu Google Sandbox. Selain tantangan Google Sandbox kompetisi di keyword Low Cholesterol Foods juga lumayan ketat juga, jumlah halaman saya check ada 3 jutaan (kalo pake tanda kutip sekitar 57ribu), terus yang nongkrong di page pertama, banyak yang sudah mempunyai PR. Mmhhhh...

Tips Sehat Selama Bulan Ramadhan

Selama Bulan Ramadhan ini, kadang setelah bedug Maghrib kadang kita tidak bisa mengendalikan diri untuk menyantap makanan yang ada di depan kita, padahal mungkin saja makanan yang kelihatan lezat tersebut sebenarnya kurang baik untuk kesehatan tubuh kita.

Berikut ini ada beberapa tips sehat yang mungkin bisa dijadikan rujukan selama kita menjalani Puasa bulan Ramadhan ini :
A. Makanan Sehat Saat Buka
Ada aturan ideal untuk berbuka. Anda bisa memulai membatalkan puasa dengan cara:
Awali dengan pilihan minuman seperti:
- Minum jus
- Minum susu rendah lemak
- Menyantap sup

Lanjutkan dengan makan seimbang seperti:
- Salad sebagai permulaan.
- Dapatkan asupan protein dari masakan berisi ayam, daging atau ikan, kacang polong, buncis atau kedelai (tahu/tempe).
- Dapatkan karbohidrat penuh dari beras merah, pasta atau roti gandum.
- Sayuran dan buah juga diperlukan dalam hal ini

B. Pilihan Makanan Untuk Sahur
Sahur adalah salah satu saat makan penting sewaktu menjalankan puasa. Sahur akan tetap menjaga tingkat energi sepanjang hari selama berpuasa. Jadi, jangan lewatkan sahur supaya nutrisi sebagai bahan bakar tubuh Anda tetap terisi. Untuk sahur sehat, Anda dapat memilih makanan seperti:

- Roti gandum dengan selai atau keju.
- Sereal berserat tinggi dengan susu rendah lemak.
- Buah-buahan segar atau kering, termasuk nanas.
- Kacang-kacangan.

C. Hindari Kopi dan Teh Saat Berbuka dan Sahur
Pagi pecinta kopi dan teh, mungkin ada baiknya menghindari minuman ini selama puasa. Jus buah segar jadi pilihan bagus sebagai penggantinya. Kopi dan teh mengandung kafein, yang akan membuat Anda kehilangan lebih banyak air saat buang air kecil.

Minum teh setelah makan dapat mengurangi kandungan zat besi yang diserap tubuh dari makanan. Jadi lebih baik minum air putih setelah berbuka atau sahur. Jika Anda bosan, bisa ditambahkan perasan jeruk nipis dalam air minum Anda.

D. Yang Disarankan Saat Berpuasa

"Cannot analyze if the PR is Genuine at this time". Lagi ngecek pagerank di Checkpagerank.net, muncul pesan kayak gitu. Dan biasanya ini adalah salah satu tanda kalau Google lagi update Pagerank. Tapi ngga tau juga nih, Update Mayor atau cuman update minor.

Jujur saja, saya baru mendengar tentang layanan blog dari Jimdo.Com ini dan saya berencana membuat blog di Jimdo.Com karena ada kebutuhan untuk membuat Dummy Blog. Dummy Blog ini untuk backlink bagi blog ini dan juga untuk Project Single Site. Sesuai dengan postingan saya yang lalu tentang Backlink dari Website 2.0.

Kenapa ngga di Blogger.Com aja yang jelas sudah familier ? Soalnya saya lihat, dari beberapa blog yang saya buat di Blogger.Com dan saya kasih link ke Blog ini, ternyata tidak dihitung sebagai Backlink oleh Mbah Google. Ngga tau kenapa tuh, tapi kalau dari orang lain, walaupun dari Blogger.Com ada yang dihitung sebagai Backlink untuk blog ini. Makanya saya coba buat di layanan blog gratis yang lain saja , mudah-muadahn bisa dihitung sebagai Backlink nantinya.

Status Google PageRank iBloggered.Com

Penasaran dengan Google PageRank dari blog ini, saya mencoba mengecek via CheckPageRank.Net dan ternyata resultnya dah balik lagi ke PR3. Alhamdulillah. Tapi ada yang aneh, yaitu yang ber-PageRank 3 hanya URL yang menggunakan URL lengkap alias lengkap dengan WWW, kalau tanpa WWW masih ke detect PR0.

Selain PageRank yang masih berbeda antara Google PageRank with WWW dengan PR tanpa WWW, ada satu masalah lagi yaitu Blog ini menurut hasil pengecekan CheckPageRank.Net tidak ter-listed di Google Directory. Duh!!

Sepertinya masih banyak pekerjaan rumah nih, untuk mengembalikan iBloggered.Com ke posisi semula. Semangat...Penasaran dengan Google PageRank dari blog ini, saya mencoba mengecek via CheckPageRank.Net dan ternyata resultnya dah balik lagi ke PR3[...]

Tadi pagi pas lagi makan sahur, kebetulan nonton sinetron Para Pencari Tuhan 3 di salah satu TV Swasta. Ada yang berubah pada soundtrack sinetron Para Pencari Tuhan tersebut, dan ya suaranya kayaknya kenal, mirip Armand Maulana dan iya, setelah nyari tahu emang bener ternyata lagunya Gigi. Sebenarnya berita ini udah lama, tapi karena saya ngga terlalu nyimak jadinya baru tahu tadi pagi. hihihihi.

Nonton sinetron sebenarnya adalah salah satu kegiatan yang saya tabukan, males nontonnya, tapi untuk sinetron Para Pencari Tuhan, beda. Ada pesan yang terselip di setiap adegan sinetron Para Pencari Tuhan ini dan lumayan menghibur juga soalnya diselingi adegan yang bisa membuat kita tersenyum/tertawa.

Akibat Di Tabok Mbah Google

Akibat tabokan Mbah Google sampai sekarang masih terasa, proses indexing yang biasanya cepet kali ini terasa begitu lambat, dari tracker yang saya pasang, Mbah Google terakhir bertamu tanggal 9 Agustus dan sampai hari ini belum kelihatan lagi batang hidungnya. Masih marah kali ya si Mbahnya.

Ganti Baju Lagi

Mumpung masih fresh setelah pulang kampung selama 3 hari, langsung ganti baju aja, biar ngeblognya tambah semangat. Dari tadi siang ngotak-ngatik HTML akhirnya kelar juga dan langsung di upload ke account iBloggered.Com. Langsung bikin postingan ini.

Masih menunggu single site yang baru dibikin untuk di index sama mBah Google sambil terus di ping dari sini kali aja bisa mempercepat proses indexing. Paceklik Adsense

Setelah traffic ancur-ancuran, dapet klik dari Adsense adalah hal yang sangat susah sekali didapat. Sering banget dapet 0 Dollar. Kalaupun dapet klik Adsense, CPC-nya pun paling 0.01 Dollar.

Tapi tetap walaupun kecil harus disyukuri, seiring berjalannya waktu masa sih ngga naik lagi, dulu aja pernah dapet 10 Dollar per day, moso ngga bisa dapet segitu lagi.

Dan kemarin dapet klik lagi, walaupun ngga gede2 amat tapi lumayan lah dapet CPC 0.27 Dollar dari blog parenting. Padahal mayoritas traffic masih dari Indonesia, coba kalau dari Premium traffic, kayaknya bakalan maknyus banget. Tapi ya itu, berat di SERP-nya. Mana blog andalan PR-nya ancur, jadinya ngga bisa ngebantu yang lain.

Ya udah akhirnya balik lagi bikin single page site aja, dan untuk yang baru ini temanya tentang Gardening, dan ngambil niche Gardening Advice UK. Setelah beberapa hari selingkuh ke Hostgator, akhirnya hari ini blog ini kembali ke Blogger.Com. Pada awalnya saya begitu semangat untuk migrasi ke Hostgator dengan niat untuk menggunakan CMS Wordpress, yang katanya lebih enak untuk di optimasi, tapi ditengah jalan saya mengalami banyak kebingungan. Mungkin karena hampir 2 tahun terakhir tidak pernah lepas dari Blogger.Com. Dan saya juga tidak punya blog di Wordpress.Com, yang secara tampilan hampir sama dengan self hostingnya wordpress.org. Mungkin kalau saya terbiasa menggunakan Wordpress.Com saya tidak akan mengalami kebingungan dalam menggunakan Wordpress.org/self Hosting.

The mechanics of how to deal with this situation are well understood. But if you ask doctors about why it hurts, no-one can really explain how the pain system works. For the record, the word "pain" comes from the Greek for penalty. Pain is a type of punishment for your body failing. As to the nervous system, there are nerve endings all over your body and when a stimulus passes a threshold, this is interpreted as pain. Under normal circumstances, the pain will be localized, i.e. there will be pressure or an injury that triggers the sensation. But there is also "referred pain" which is where pain from one part of the body is felt in a different part, e.g. pain from the gallbladder is often felt in the right shoulder because the nerves are distributed by the same root in the spinal column. This is confusing when it comes to diagnosis.

When the stimulus generates the pain message, it is transmitted to the brain. This depends on the neurotransmitters, yet it is still not certain how everything works together. One thing is clear. Pain is pain, and it does not matter whether it is classified as acute or chronic, i.e. short-term or likely to last a long time. The real difference is that the cause of acute pain is often clear, e.g. you broke a bone, so you know it will heal. But the causes of chronic pain may not be clearly identified. Nevertheless there are a number of approaches to deal with the problem. There are drugs from the pharmaceutical companies. You start with aspirin for the less serious pain and work up to the seriously powerful opiates that will knock you out and kill all but the most severe of pain sensations. The majority of the drugs come in a pill or capsule, but there are also topical creams you can rub on to the affected parts of your body and, in the more extreme cases, there are injectable versions that deliver the drugs close to the point where they will do the most good.

Jakarta Bombing at Ritz Carlton & JW Marrtiot

Peristiwa pemboman Ritz Carlton dan JW Marriot yang terjadi pagi tadi, berdampak pada batalnya pertandingan antara Manchester United dan Indonesian All Star. Hal ini disampaikan oleh Agum Gumelar selaku Ketua Panitia Lokal pertandingan itu, pada konferensi pers yang dilakukan siang tadi.

Saya sendiri kebetulan belum punya tiket pertandingan itu, soalnya mahal banget euy untuk ukuran saya dan tadinya mo nonton di TV, toh ada siaran langsungnya. Tapi apa daya, bom membuyarkan semuanya.

Dan bagi Manchester United sendiri pembatalan ini adalah keputusan yang wajar, takut pastinya dengan adanya ledakan bom itu. Mendingan pulang ke Inggris daripada mati di negeri orang.
